Course overview

It has been estimated that 100 million Americans suffer from some type of pain. Pain has become so widespread that it is often referred to as one of the primary reasons individuals seek health care. With the prevalence of pain on the rise, health care professionals must possess a clear understanding of pain and pain management. This course will review the essential concepts of pain and pain management, while providing health care professionals with information to help them safely and effectively administer health care to patients experiencing pain.
