Clients who present with sciatic pain are often the most perplexing and challenging cases seen by massage therapists. We know that there must be other options besides surgery, but overly simplistic approaches like aggressive treatment of the piriformis often make symptoms worse, not better. What are the most effective and efficient soft-tissue approaches for these clients who desperately need our help?
