Course overview

Did you ever wonder where all those great ideas for treatment come from?  Attend this session to "dig deeper" into NDT Clinical Problem Solving!  Attendees will explore the linkage between function and impairments and will analyze the process of developing and modifying treatment strategies that are targeted, effective, and efficient. Session participants will investigate the process of identifying, prioritizing, and addressing multisystem and single system impairments that most limit function, in order to pave the way for the individual to achieve their personal function and participation goals. The process of prioritization of impairments will be explained and demonstrated through use of video case examples. Great treatment ideas come from careful development of individualized treatment strategies based on a thorough assessment!  The process of creating a treatment strategy will be illustrated, along with rationale for each element of the strategy.
