Tracking # 20-1322870
Course overview
Grief is universal, yet deeply personal and within families, it reveals the diversity of our inner worlds and can key into pre existing fault lines. This workshop explores how a therapists personal grief history shapes their response, how the things families do to block the pain are often the source of their harm long term, how individuals in families experience grief differently, and the role of transgenerational trauma. Recognizing that we are as different on the inside as we look on the outside, well explore how collective grief and open communication can foster connection even in the face of profound loss. Youll leave with practical tools to help families navigate the complexity of grief with empathy and respect.
