Post-Acute Sequelae of SARS-CoV-2 infection (PASC), also referred to as Long COVID, Long Haulers, or Long-term COVID-19 is a growing concern in individuals following severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Experts are facing difficult questions regarding the exact mechanisms of PASC and the best treatment approaches to eradicate the array of symptoms that may persist following acute COVID-19 infection.
