Progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), also known as one of the Parkinson-plus syndromes (or atypical parkinsonisms), is a rapidly progressing neurodegenerative disease. This course provides rehabilitation therapy professionals with an overview of the clinical presentation, pathophysiology, and progression of PSP. The evidence, presented alongside a case study, highlights the critical signs and symptoms needed to support early detection, intervention, and management aimed at improving the patient's quality of life. The roles and responsibilities of each rehabilitation team member are presented, along with examples of appropriate goals and interventions.
