Synergetic Fascial Method Functional Movement, Breath, and Neck Connection Course Overview This course explores how fascial tension patterns in the neck, cervical spine, and shoulders impact breath, posture, nervous system regulation, and whole-body coordination. Using the Synergetic Myofascial Method, students will learn practical, hands-on techniques and movement strategies to free cervical restrictions, enhance breath flow, and restore functional neck-body integration. Ideal for practitioners working with chronic neck tension, forward head posture, breath dysfunction, postural collapse, and somatic-emotional holding patterns. Course Objectives 1. Identify 16 common fascial restrictions and postural patterns in the neck, shoulders, cervical and thoracic spine, chest, abdomen 2. Apply 6 fascial techniques to release upper thoracic and posterior cervical tension 3. Integrate 6 fascial techniques for breath and movement sequencing to enhance functional alignment in abdomen, chest and neck 4. Describe the role of the neck in nervous system regulation and energy expression 5. Design 4 client sessions that support breath-body connection and whole-body postural ease 6. Students will demonstrate how to scoop, connect and lift, the fascia and use their body weight correctly to improve body mechanics for safe fascial work in 1. Spine, 2. neck, 3. shoulders, 4. arms 5. Pelvis 6. Chest, 7. abdomen 7. Students will define and demonstrate the correct level application of manual fascia work and differentiate between 1. the core deep and 2. The superficial sleeve fascia. 8. Students will list 10 cautions and contraindications of fascial work. 9. Students will list 10 terms that are used to describe dysfunctional postural patterns of the upper body: neck, arms, spine, scapulae, shoulder girdle and pelvis. 10. Students will demonstrate safe use of 1. forearm, 2. elbow, 3. soft fist, fingers, 4. Knuckles, and 5. palm. 11. Students will demonstrate 10 safe hands-on manual fascial techniques in the supine, prone, side and seated position for the client. 12. Students will identify 15 major muscles used in movement, 15 bones, and 6 bony prominences and describe their fascial structural importance for stability and function in upper body and in support of the spine.
