The Covid crisis changed our lives dramatically. As helpers and healers we continued to provide care to those in crisis we were challenged to utilize technology in a time of crisis. Utilizing trauma informed care practices requires a mindset; practicing trauma informed care in the virtual world is a skill set. Global pandemics such as the COVID crisis changed our lives; it is important to embrace the new normal and incorporate digital technology in how we support individuals and families in crisis.
