Course overview
Evidence Based Practice is the intentional use of current based evidence in making decisions about individual patients and their care while at the same time, integrating clinical expertise and the patient's values. This course takes participants through a review of the basic anatomy of the cervical spine and summarizes current best evidence for common cervical disorders including strains, radiculopathy, cervicogenic headaches, whiplash, and acute and chronic pain. Emphasis will be on recognition of clinical patterns and development of development of evidence based treatment programs for each. Because the program is a webinar, pictures, diagrams, and charts will be used for illustration.
