Course Description: Understanding of Bloodborne pathogens, hazard communications policy, needle stick injury update, reporting requirements and OSHA Inspection issues Did you realize that saliva is considered to have blood particles in it. This course will provide an understanding of the pathogenic microorganisms that are found in blood. Etiology, transmission, and disinfection techniques will be discussed.
