This 6 CE Hour Neuromuscular Therapy Basics Home Study class includes: Neuromuscular Therapy (aka NMT) Benefits Postural & Functional Evaluations Nerve Entrapment & Ischemia Assessing & Addressing Pain Pain Relief Agencies & Organizations Treatment Suggestions Instructor Demonstrations of NMT Skills Student Practice Along Hands-on Practice of NMT Skills This class includes some of the basics of neuromuscular therapy. We will review the 5 foundations of NMT in detail, and how we can apply each one through neuromuscular therapy practices, applications, orthopedic tests and hands-on bodywork skills. This class was designed to help massage therapists and bodyworkers look at and address the body in a medical hands-on application to improve function and decrease pain. We will also provide some tips on how to setup a massage practice or bodywork treatment room to provide a quicker and better client evaluation so that you can get to the root of a client's possible anatomical distortions.
