Course overview

In this class, students will learn and practice a 4-page American full body stone massage sequence. This is the 2nd half of our 12 CE Hour of the Hot Stone Massage Workshop that teaches the traditional full body hot stone massage. Students MUST have basic working knowledge of stone names, equipment used and hot stone massage practice itself to take this hands-on class. There is very little theoretical instruction available in this mostly hands-on/practice class. This class will include a review of: Cold stone massage Aromatherapy stone massage application Historical and cultural uses of stone Research and benefits of stone massage Plus instructor demonstrations of a: Cold stone facial 75-minute full body stone massage Contrast stone massage on the back Setting up a hot stone bath
