Course overview
Understanding how vasoactive medications affect hemodynamics is essential for safe surgical care. This course examines their mechanisms of action, indications, and physiological effects to support confident, evidence-based decision-making in the surgical environment. The course content focuses on the adult population only; pediatric considerations are excluded. This course provides RNs, physicians, and pharmacy professionals with key knowledge for administering vasoactive drugs to adults in the intraoperative setting.
