This course provides an integrated education for the Doctor of Chiropractic in the science chiropractic analysis and management of patients injured in motor vehicle collisions. Biomechanical, neurophysiological, and epidemiological aspects of whiplash injuries will be reviewed and discussed. Understanding /differentiating subtle and complex ligament injuries of the cervical sine will be presented. In addition, this postgraduate course is designed for chiropractors to effectively review and document the clinical implications of diagnosis coding and current procedural terminology. The fundamental element of this course is to strengthen attendees' knowledge of in the science chiropractic analysis and management of patients including proper clinical ICD-10 coding, clinical CP coding, and clinical documentation requirements for compliance and accuracy. In depth postgraduate review of clinical guidelines for patient case management.
