Identify the number of patients who are likely victims of domestic violence based on statewide and national statistics. List screening procedures and implement recommended strategies for determining whether a patient has any history of being either a victim or a perpetrator of domestic violence. Provide patients with information on domestic violence, and refer such patients to, resources in the local community that provide domestic violence victim specific services.
