Course overview

The purpose of this lecture is to familiarize optometrists with the glaucoma treatment protocols. We will discuss traditional methods vs other interventional treatment options. We will discuss the efficacy and reliability of different treatment options which can be dependent upon patient compliance. We will discuss different case reports and their outcomes. This program will focus on how the role of the optometrist is imperative in the diagnosis, selection of optimal candidates, managing post-op care, and counseling glaucoma patients.
