This session includes updates from Office of Inspector General (OIG), case study examples of non-compliance, and examples of self-audits. This session also includes some of the frequently asked questions related to regulatory changes. It also includes a more detailed look at three compliance program elements: Monitoring and Auditing, Discipline for Non-Compliance, and Investigations and Remedial Measures. Upon completion of this webinar, you should be able to: Describe the importance of Monitoring and Auditing in a hospital compliance program. Describe the importance of Investigations and Remedial Measures for compliance programs. Describe guidelines for discipline for Non-Compliance. Describe the role of the compliance officer in Monitoring and Auditing. Describe the role of the compliance officer in discipline for non-compliance.
