Course overview
As of July 1, 2023, all Adult Family Care Homes and Assisted Living Facilities that advertise they provide or is designed to provide specialized care for persons with Alzheimer's disease or related forms of dementia, in addition to the 3-Hours Alzheimer's training, must receive within 6 months after beginning employment must take an additional 4-Hours of dementia specific training and 4-Hours of Alzheimer's continuing education each calendar year thereafter, pursuant to Chapter 430.5025(4) (e), Florida Statutes
