This course will help assisted living caregivers and managers better understand the dying process, recognize expected vs unexpected findings at end of life, non-pharmaceutical and pharmaceutical comfort measures, discuss the importance of oral care at end of life, address hydration concerns, and the emotional aspects of providing care for a dying resident.
