Engaging parents in trauma treatment should begin with the first phone call. But, unfortunately, this call is usually only used to set up the initial intake. This workshop will present a seven-question script that uses strength-based questions to quickly build rapport between the therapist and client before the first session. Learn how this technique will allow both your parents and children to experience what is called a "soft start-up" and enter trauma treatment with increased show rates at 70% or higher with greater readiness to change.
