Course overview
Chronic kidney disease (CKD) affects one in seven adults, yet up to 90% of early-stage cases go unrecognized in primary care. This course provides pragmatic, evidence-based strategies for timely detection, risk stratification, and longitudinal management of CKD. Healthcare professionals will learn to integrate modern therapeutic guidelines and collaborative workflows to optimize renal and cardiovascular outcomes across diverse patient populations. Recent advances in CKD staging and the introduction of new cardiorenal protective therapies have rapidly shifted management standards. This has created an urgent educational need for frontline healthcare professionals to update their practice with new algorithms, laboratory thresholds, and treatment protocols to bridge the gap between evidence and everyday care.
