Course overview

Hamstring strains represent the most common muscle injury in athletes. They result in significant impairment, loss of function, and missed playing time. Recovery from hamstring injuries is further complicated by a high reinjury rate. This program will describe the anatomy/physiology, diagnosis, classification, prevention, and rehabilitation of hamstring strains. Additionally, we will discuss ultrasound imaging and return to play considerations.
