Starting with basic terminology and concepts, we will move quickly to cover the systemic oppression faced by transgender kids, adults, and their families. We will review the laws both supporting and discriminating against trans people and attempt to provide a social justice context to the current social environment. Finally, we will cover best practices of working with transgender people.
