Course overview

Dr. Valerie Parker will be reviewing nutritional management of a variety of diseases in dogs and cats. The session will include tips and tricks for successful obesity prevention & management, nutritional management of chronic enteropathies, and how to navigate the comorbid kidney disease patient. We will review new strategies for addressing feline hypercalcemia. Clinical cases will be used to illustrate each of these points. Additionally, we will discuss how to review and make recommendations for various non-traditional diets and how to successfully implement assisted enteral nutrition in practice.
