Panel presentation with Q and A session Recognize the role of the dietitian as part of the interdisciplinary team caring for major organ transplant patients (kidney, liver, and heart or other). Identify key-nutrition issues that need to be focused on before organ transplant to support better patient outcomes (mortality, infection rate, graft function). Identify nutrition-interventions that needs to be provided post-transplant, especially during hospitalization, to ensure better health and organ function preservation.
