Please join us for this important training on Mandated reporting. Goal: Participants will be equipped with comprehensive knowledge of Ohio's mandatory reporting laws, how and when to file reports, documentation and ethical considerations in reporting abuse, neglect, or violence. PPT, group discussion, chat interaction, and case conceptualization and review will be used as learning tools. Objectives: Participants will review and learn Duty to Report Suspected Child Abuse or Neglect. Legal obligations, reporting abuse, neglect or exploitation of adults. Reporting abuse of individuals with developmental disabilities. Identifying and reporting animal abuse. Reporting violent behavior by clients (Duty to Protect, Tarasoff case). Professional conduct and your duty to report colleagues. Reporting procedures & case conceptualization discussed in each section.
