What is TB? Tuberculosis (TB) is caused by a bacterium called Mycobacterium tuberculosis. When a person breathes in TB germs, the germs can settle in the lungs and begin to grow. You will learn about the difference between Active TB disease and Inactive or Latent TB. You will also learn the signs and symptoms of Tuberculosis. Participants will earn 1 Continuing Education Unit.
