Participants will become more effective contributors to the care of individuals with schizophrenia. Part of this increased effectiveness includes learning strategies for engaging and supporting these individuals loved ones, which ultimately helps to support client recovery. We anticipate that there will be increased adherence to evidence based practices for schizophrenia care. We anticipate participants will have increased knowledge about the intricacies of CBTp treatment and a systems approach to care for example., involving loved ones in planful ways, learn new strategies and received updates to the most current research about how to provide evidenced based treatment, learn how to overcome obstacles that are present when working with the diagnosis of psychosis, and learn how to address family and systems issues that are ubiquitous with individuals who struggle with psychosis.
