This is a 3-hour online self paced course designed for PTs, OTs, and SLPs. This course provides a comprehensive overview of risk management principles. Through an exploration of legal, ethical, and regulatory considerations, participants will develop strategies to reduce liability exposure while promoting safe, effective and family-centred care. The course covers critical topics such as informed consent, termination of care, mandated reporting, sensitive exams and communication with guardians.
