Join us on Monday, December 1, 2025 at 2 PM Eastern Time for Understanding, Influencing & Mentoring: Interview with Alaska Guardian Lora Hendley. Have you ever wondered if a guardian's intervention could change the way a court interacts with respondents? Or, how a court visitor might become the mentor a new guardian needs? Could you use some fresh ideas about in-the-field actions that enhance relationships? These are just three of the sample stories we will hear during this candid interview with an experienced guardian who goes beyond what's expected. Participants will learn: 1. Ways to deeply understand a regional culture well enough to be the educator for others 2. Situations where a guardian can influence client families and supporters to change the trajectory of a person's future 3. How mentoring works to build confidence and competence for new guardians The course is offered free of charge. Registration is required. 1 CEU from Center for Guardianship Certification will be awarded for Florida. Please check with your state to determine if this CEU meets your needs.
