Course overview

This 1-hour seminar will be for beginner or advanced practitioners with Class 2 lasers in the Violet and Red spectrums. The pathophysiology of wounds and skin infections with augmentation by laser frequencies will be discussed. A brief overview of how red, green and violet light activates the mitochondrial transport chain and thus enables various pathways of healing will be provided. Attendees will receive diverse case studies with specific protocols to understand the application of laser to treat different types of wounds, infections and skin conditions and leave feeling confident in their ability to tackle challenging cases. Ample time for questions and answers will be provided to ensure an understanding of how class II lasers work and which protocols to consider for different skin and immune deficiency cases.
