Presenters Dr. Pari Deshmukh and Deborah Franklin, NHA, will provide the building blocks to craft a trauma-informed approach to patient care, including a detailed overview of the definitions of trauma, the current regulatory requirements for patient care, and the clinical insights needed to identify, diagnose, and treat residents who have experienced trauma.
