Course overview

Introduction to Synergetic Structural Integration - 24 CE with Magnus Eklund BCSI, Founder SSI, LMT 144 - MS. This course does NOT have pre-requisites. Open to LMT's and other hands-on professionals. Synergetic Structural Integration is a form of massage and myofascial therapy that teaches participants to safely release fascial and muscular tension in the body in a 10 - session format. In this course students will demonstrate an introductory 3 sessions series. Physical assessments refer to postural problems and corrections working with myofascia in movement. Restrictions in the soft tissue are addressed with hands - on techniques by the therapist in synergy with active movement by the client. This style of work teaches massage therapists how to conserve energy and use safe body mechanics and is within the scope of practice for massage therapists. This is a basic fascial course and presents the fundamental concepts and strategies of Synergetic Structural Integration, which is inspired by the work of Dr. Ida P. Rolf, fascial stretching techniques, joint opening ROM, vibrational bodywork & functional movements. Learn how to combine advanced hands - on myofascial techniques with active movements from the client. Learn advanced postural and functional movement assessments to better understand how to improve structural alignment through specific applications of myofascial techniques. Learn 3 introductory sessions that are essential in maintaining and improving fascial structural balance . Session 1: Front body , Session 2: Back body, Session 3: Side body. All 3 sessions includes a finishing sequence of neck, back and sacral work.
