Integrated Warm Bamboo Treatment

Course overview

This course will provide students with the foundational skills of using warm bamboo to relieve muscle tension during Swedish or deep tissue massage treatments. The lever of force and tips on how to use bamboo in smart ways to protect the therapist's hands will be provided. Students will be shown care and safety of bamboo sticks, warmer options, and sanitation. Warm bamboo provides an excellent alternative to hot stone treatment with less mess and time lost messing with stones in the warmer. Students will be shown techniques and will have time to practice them to gain skill and confidence. Bamboo sticks and warmers will be provided for in-class use. Recommendations for purchasing will be provided.
