Knee Arthroplasty Home Based Management Progression
Tracking # 20-1334567
Course overview
Home based rehabilitation is a practical and functional option for patients after knee arthroplasty. Home based rehabilitation providers are able to help patients navigate real-world challenges in their actual living environment. However treating people in their own homes has its limitations, there is no easy access to standard equipment in a therapy gym and spaces may be difficult to traverse. This means rehabilitation professionals must be creative use what's available in the home and ensure functional mobility is part of the patients care plan. This course outlines home-based exercise and mobility progressions focusing on the later weeks of a standard home based care programme. This course aims to describe home based therapy exercise and mobility progressions for patients following knee arthroplasty.
