This training will review the 11 criteria of cannabis use disorder, red flags that indicate if someone is likely to develop a use disorder, and symptoms to determine if there is a crisis or not. This session will cover conditions that could occur from cannabis use disorder and the appropriate steps in referring a caller to the appropriate agency. ***After completing this training, participants will be able to: 1. Describe cannabis use disorder. 2. Identify how to distinguish between someone who has a disorder versus someone who has just used the substance. 3. Recognize red flags that could make someone likely to have a disorder and guide referral to the appropriate place. 4. Describe crisis conditions from cannabis.
