Course Description: The purpose of this course is to fulfill the new continuing education requirements in the Texas Administrative Code, RULE 681.140 (a) (1) regarding competency when providing services to distinct populations. This course examines some of the common attributes, traits, and defining characteristics of three population groups that most, if not all, Texas LPCs will serve. This course replaces the three hours formerly required in "Cultural Diversity."
