Course overview
Description: According to TAC Rule 681.141, licensed professional counselors holding the supervisor status (LPC-S) must complete six hours of continuing education in supervision and that count towards the 24 hours required each renewal period of all Texas Licensed Professional Counselors. The purpose of this course is to provide the six additional hours of supervision required for license renewal for Texas Licensed Professional Counselors holding the supervisor status (LPC-S). The Texas Administrative Code, Chapter 681 (Professional Counselors), Subchapter C (Application and Licensing), Rules 681.91, 681.92 and 681.93, provide the bulk of guidelines for LPC Supervisors and the Associates they supervise.
