This course explores hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (HDP), including the pathophysiology of the distinct types of HDP, such as chronic hypertension, gestational hypertension, preeclampsia, and preeclampsia superimposed over chronic hypertension, and their effects on the pregnant individual and fetus. In addition, this course will review the risk factors, diagnosis, and treatment of each type of HDP.
