Course overview

Through presentations using a multitude of clinical images, interactive lecturing , video technique presentations and intensive hands-on wet labs, class participants will effectively learn how to recognize normal versus disease states and employ the most current techniques in their treatment. Intraoral radiographic skill in reading and technique is the foundation of diagnosis and treatment of oral disease. It is to this end that participants will be thoroughly grounded in this discipline through a multitude of clinical case studies. Videography of surgical extractions in the cat and dog and the step by step techniques in approaching the various teeth by creating pedicle flaps will be meticulously explained in order to enhance the practitioners ability to immediately apply them in their practices.
