Phlebotomy for Nurses

Course overview

This 8-hour continuing education course equips nurses with the essential knowledge and skills required for safe and effective phlebotomy practice. Learners will explore anatomy and vein selection, venipuncture techniques, order of draw, specimen handling and labeling, infection control and safety, and patient communication. The course includes theory instruction, hands-on lab practice, and a final onsite post-test. Approved for 8 CE contact hours by the Florida Board of Nursing.
