Join Master Dissector Todd Garcia and Anatomy Trains Senior Instructor Thadd Dudrey for a unique 3 hour deep dive into the functional anatomy and biomechanics of the leg, ankle, and foot. Using fresh tissue dissection, we will examine the foot in a loaded, upright position, simulating phases of gait. We will explore the structural relationships that allow the foot to absorb shock, adapt to terrain, and become a rigid lever during toe off. This session focuses on closed chain biomechanics, eccentric fascial loading, and key mechanisms like the Windlass Effect and cuboid locking, making it essential for manual and movement practitioners, including those in athletic training, trauma resolution, and osteopathy.
