Our 2025 AAEVT Annual Convention, held in conjunction with the AAEP Annual Convention, is a 3 1/2 day stand-alone CE event offering multiple medical and non-medical tracks to include scientific, anesthesia and leadership / career enhancement topics. Throughout the convention, participants will have opportunities to choose from 47 hours of focused CE sessions led by prominent veterinary medical experts. Beginning with a distinguished keynote speaker followed by a full complement of lectures, roundtable discussions, breakfast / lunch talks, case study presentations as well as a full day of hands-on wet labs, we have organized an event that offers something for everyone at all levels of expertise. Our goal is to provide best practices knowledge, techniques, updates and reviews in all areas for veterinary technicians, assistants and support staff working in equine veterinary practices. Our partnership with AAEP also helps to facilitate many golden opportunities to network and share ideas with other professionals in our industry. All participants will be provided online proceedings and resource materials for reference and sharing with others once they return. Open interaction with speakers will be available throughout the convention for any questions that may arise. Information gained from sessions and networking with fellow participants will be immediately applicable to clinics upon participant return. Medical topics to include: Anesthesia protocols, tips and tricks, reproduction, nutrition, podiatry, medicine, surgical, care and treatment protocols, and treatment or diagnostic modalities currently available. Non-Medical topics to include: Team / Practice communications, leadership, engagement, wellness, responsibilities relating to cost of care discussions as well as skill sets for future financial planning and self-advocacy.
