Program Description: This webinar will familiarize the attendees with the species Rangifer tarandus and will provide the common conditions that are found in this unique species. Learning Objectives: 1. Participants should feel comfortable providing veterinary services for this species following this webinar. 2. We will discuss the anatomy and physiology of reindeer. Participants will learn about common medications used for general anesthesia, best practices when dealing with antler injuries, heard health, theriogenology and parasitology. 3.
