Nanopuncture Upper Extremities Module

Course overview

This two-day course is part of the nanopuncture certification stroke series. This course will teach the anatomy and neuronanatomy of the upper extremity, the pathology of the paralysis of the shoulder, arm, forearm, and fingers. Orthopedic and neurological testing will also be drilled and trained as well as therapeutic and manual manipulation of the upper extremity anatomy. Patients will learn how to needle the luo and yuan points of the forearm. Goals and Objectives: * Participants will understand how to assess the upper extremity pathology * Participants will how to do upper extremity neuro flush * Participants will learn how to make a western and eastern assessment of an upper extremity paralyzed limb * Participants will learn how to create a healing program for these types of patients
