Course overview

Each year, over 380,000 infants are born prematurely in the U.S., many requiring NICU care and specialized follow-up. Without targeted support, these infants face increased risks of motor, sensory, and feeding difficulties, impacting both short- and long-term development. Early, neuroprotective interventions by skilled therapists can reduce complications, improve family well-being, and enhance functional outcomes.
