Patients with vestibular disorders frequently present to rehabilitation professionals. There is a wide array of vestibular dysfunctions which may cause similar patient complaints. The clinician tasked with managing these individuals needs to know the varied pathologies that create symptoms of dizziness and balance impairments. The ability to understand high-complexity vestibular dysfunction can help the clinician to better identify and manage these individuals in the clinical setting. This course will cover advanced topics encountered in vestibular rehab. Specifically covered will be both peripheral and central mechanisms of dizziness.
