Interacting and Identifying Drug Users

Course overview

Sergeant Luke White, West Virginia State Police Bureau of Investigations, Senior Investigator. Sergeant White received his bachelor's degree from Wheeling Jesuit and received his Masters of Science in Law Enforcement Administration from Marshall University. Sergeant Luke has been a West Virginia State Trooper since 2008 and has been a Bureau of Investigations since 2012. His main responsibilities are federal and state narcotics investigations in the Northern District of West Virginia. Sergeant White also assists with Major Crimes and Death Investigations. Objectives: 1) The participant will be able to discuss three potential dangers of identified drug users in the school environment. 2) The participant will be able to list at least two ways to identify drug users. 3) The participant will be able to provide safe interactions with staff and patients in a health care setting.
