1. DEATH, presented by John Lambert LCSW, BCD, ACSW, DCSW, MSW Goal: Raise awareness that the holidays often trigger grief related to loss. Objective: Examine the five stages of grief and forgiveness as they relate to remembering loved ones during the holidays, with a special focus on sudden and traumatic loss. 2. DIVORCE, presented by Betsy O'Callaghan MHS, LMFT Goal: Equip therapists to give wise counsel and bring healing and hope to clients facing the holidays during or after divorce. Objective: Explore forgiveness, boundary-setting, and self-care in navigating relationships post-divorce. 3. SUICIDE, presented by Pamela Paul, NCC, LMHC, CFT, RRCA, DSc Goal: Provide guidance for navigating the complicated grief experienced by families and friends after suicide. Objective: Identify best practices and trauma-informed approaches for walking alongside those processing suicide-related loss.
