Course overview
Aortic disease is frequently challenging to diagnose, especially in emergent situations when aneurysms rupture or dissections disrupt blood flow causing shock or organ ischemia. This activity presents aortic-disease case examples and offers strategies that physicians and other healthcare professionals can use to better diagnose aortic disease, thereby increasing patient safety and reducing their liability risks.
